Passionate about inspiring others to feel better and lead fuller lives

I'm privileged to be able to help guide and support you on your journey to optimal health and wellness. If I do nothing else I want to inspire you to work towards being your whole, happy and connected self. I have no doubt you will achieve your health, training, body, and overall life goals if you stay the path that starts with self-love and your attention to the present moment. These critical elements will allow you to develop an endlessly positive and healthy relationship with your body and mind.

Kit Wren

My own health and fitness journey started while I was growing up as the son of a Buddhist practitioner at Zen Center in San Francisco. I attended many family mindfulness retreats at Green Gulch Farm and Tassajara Hot Springs throughout the 1990's and 2000's. That’s where I first learned about the intimate connection between my body and mind. These connections were further influenced by my love and obsession with any and all sports, and I played everything from soccer and basketball to rugby and lacrosse.

After graduating from the University of Southern California, I held a variety of tech marketing and sales positions. As a way to deal with the inevitable job-related stresses, I began to work out and got involved in rock climbing, surfing, and mountain biking. In these pursuits were the perfect mix of mind and body, strength and endurance, focus and concentration.

After a few years, it became clear that I was far more passionate about my fitness and sports activities than the professional work I was doing. So I decided to take a leap of faith and quit my job to pursue a career in health and wellness—one that I could pour my whole heart into.

I began by taking Anatomy and Physiology classes at Santa Monica college as well as attending a National Academy of
Sports Medicine (NASM) program where I received certifications in personal training, corrective exercise, and a performance enhancement specialization. I also attended IPSB at the Life Energy Institute in Los Angeles where I trained as a holistic massage and bodywork practitioner and cranial sacral therapist.

Throughout my training, I worked full time as a Redcord specialist and personal trainer in a private physical therapy clinic
and pilates studio. Here I became well versed in many advanced techniques including ART (Active Release Technique), NRT (Neural Reset Technique), PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), and MET (Muscle Energy Technique) to help clients through physical rehabilitation and neuromuscular re-education.

I now utilize my background in training, movement, physical therapy, massage therapy, and cranial sacral therapy to help guide my clients towards improved health and wellbeing. I coach clients to excel at whatever they do and get comfortable moving beyond their perceived mental and physical limitations. By tapping into their core strength and innate intelligence, they’re able to transcend previous roadblocks or plateaus. My treatments are centered around creating space, movement and finding the right balance to take what you've learned and use it in your everyday life.
